Keep selling — without freezing a second business.

What platforms themselves allow

• Selling on other marketplaces where your account is in good standing. Amazon itself reports that over 95% of its independent sellers sell across multiple channels — multichannel selling is normal business, not evasion. A closure on one marketplace does not close your accounts elsewhere (unless the same conduct follows you).
• A backup payment processor, opened in your own business's name, with the existing hold disclosed. Processors approve merchants with prior holds every day — when the hold is explained up front with documents. What they terminate is the merchant who hides it and replicates the trigger.
• Fixing the trigger before scaling the new channel: the dispute rate, the fulfillment gap, the product category that caused the hold. A new account with the same trigger is a countdown, not a rescue.

The bright lines — never cross these

• No replacement accounts to dodge a ban. Not in a spouse's name, not under a fresh company formed for the purpose, not with a relative's tax ID. Platforms link accounts by tax ID, bank, device, and address — and the linked closure is worse than the first.
• No borrowed processing. Running your sales through a friend's, partner's, or employee's Stripe/PayPal/Square is called transaction laundering in processor contracts. It freezes their money too and can end both businesses' processing permanently.
• No "stealth" anything. New devices, VPNs, and swapped details to defeat platform linking are exactly the signals risk systems are built to catch. The stay-alive plan works in daylight or not at all.
